Hi All,
I am facing the below error if I leave my webdynpro application idle just for few minutes
Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: WD_MODELDATA_DEST - Model: class com.sap.demo.Model. The SSO ticket needed for authentication to WD_MODELDATA_DEST has expired. Close all applications and logon anew!
I have check the log on ticket life time to be as 30 minutes,but this error shows up even before
login.ticket_lifetime=00:30
Any help would be really appreciated
Regards,
Santhosh
Like the posting above says, you should not use SSO with modeldata JCOs. Have security create a communication user account in the system you're trying to connect to and user that account.

Hi Thomas,
Probably what you are thinking is wrong.
SSO tickets will be used for Model data destinations only and user/password is for Metadata destination.
Santhosh,I do not want to use single user to be used for connecting R3,istead who ever logs on to portal his corresponidng r3 ID should be used to access backend
Hope it iclear.
Any ideas on this please?
Hi Santhosh,
Can you try with admin user and password.
Hope modeldata most of the projects use admin user and password.

Santhosh
