Hello,
Do we have a powerdesigner version currently or planned, that supports POstGres 10.x version?
I am also am interested for implementation of PostgreSQL V12 or higher. Still waiting and i will stop the use of this tool because it will be no more relevant if this driver will not be developped.

Hey George. I work with Brian, and the features we need to use are partitioned tables, something PostGreSQL added recently, but PD doesn't have a clue about. Adding the functionality ourselves is always an option, but we would really want to avoid it if SAP is working on it.

George, I have annoyed SAP. I started an incident and had a great talk with Greg on the phone. He assured me that there was a specific call-out for the declarative partitioning, and CRs for V10 and V11. He said he talked with the developers and would update me with a timeline to have the new support added. That was very positive.
I'll just tell people it will be in PD17. 🙂
I also am interested in the PowerDesigner PostgreSQL 10.4 or higher DBMS. Is there a way to determine when this will be available?

If there is a PG 10 feature you need urgently, you could add it yourself to the Database Definition, at the risk of re-work if SAP implement it differently when they get around to it.

Hello,
Currently only PostgreSQL 8 and 9 are supported in PowerDesigner 16.6.x.
There is a Feature Request to add support for PostgreSQL 10.x in the following KBA you will find more information:
2692104 - Support for PostGreSQL 10.x - SAP PD

Jesica
