i am creating data source from mard table when i save it its giving invalid extract structure template *** of data source ****

Hi,

Why dont you just use InfoObject 0MAT_ST_LOC that extracts from MARD. Youll need to add the other fields in BI but the DataDource is pretty complete.

It uses the MDEX_MATERIAL_MD fucntion mondule in ECC which can return structures for:

MARA

MARC

MARD

MVKE

MARM

Hi,

Create a view using table MARD.

Follow the steps correctly in creating the view.

Also take care of the unit fields when creating view/datasource.

Can you tell the steps you are using to create view/datasource?

Hi Guys

The currency and unit fields referencing to MARA and T001 tables.So it will not allow you to creates a datasource while they reference to other table.

So better create a view then create ds on vieew.It will work out.

if refernce keys in you structure that will be give an error, so that create a view and based on that create a datasource then it will be work

Hi,

Might be issue with Currency and Unit fields which you have to include as a reference fields.

Let us know the complete error what you are getting.

Hi,

The error seems like with extract structure. Is your extract structure active?

if you include the fields VKLAB VKUML then you also need the T001-WAERS field...in this case you've got two options : either create a view on tables MARD and T001 and create your generic extractor on this view or create a view on MARD without those two fields and then you can create the extractor based on this view
