I am installing The Crysal Reports Basic 2008 edition from the SAP disc. This is ahead of some training in how to use it.
The workstations are using Windows Vista Business. I have logged in as administrator and turned off UAC. When I am installing Crystal Reports it hangs at the calculating space required step and doesn't proceed.
What could be causing this issue please?
Thanks
Mark

Having the same problem - windows 7 this time... read about adding another language and trying a custom installation should help. Well it seemed it helped others... I tried also a lot of things... changing setup language... and one point may be: starting the installation within the zipped file or extract it before starting the setup....
but deselecting my desired language - selecting french and my language - suddenly it worked...
good luck!
