system object connection Failed

hi experts,

i coul'd not connect with backend system from Portal. my system object ITS path shows failed.all connection properties are correct.but why it shows error..give me suggestions...

HI Venu,

FOr ITS system connection

Check the HOST entry and service entry in portal server system (operation system)

Host and service entries shoud be maintained in both server systems.

after that in portal give to logical client name in ITS description .

did you set the ITS path as /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/

Try to test ITS services from R/3 using SCIF T-code... and see the services are running or not

ITS services are in active state at R/3.can u give the documentation with screen shots..

login to R/3 then use SICF T-Code>F8(Excute)>Expand SAP>BC>GUI>SAP>ITS--> test any services.....select ur service and right click and test service.
