Clarifications in SCM 7.0

Hello Gurus,

We are going for an upgrade from SCM 4.0 to SCM 7.0. We have couple of our own logic implemented in SCM 4.0 for deployment. Now I like to know whether own logic is available as a standard functionality in SCM 7.0 or again we need to go for own development.

1. In SCM 4.0 the deployment was not considering the Product Interchangeability logic. So have copied the standard deployment program and modified it accordingly.

a) We have done the Exclusion of products in bottleneck management.

b) Our own fair share, taking into account unconfirmed customer orders.

c) Rounding logic

d) Use-up-date for supersession chains, (Production Plant)

e) Considering Deployment status (Our own field - based on the value we have couple of logics) for supersession chains

Please let me know the can we implement the above logic in a user or badi.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Siva.

    Dear Siva,

please read in the note 1284461 the Release Restrictions for SAP SCM 7.0 about deployment and the SAP-Help http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm70/helpdata/EN/46/8a76244e98275ae10000000a11466f/frameset.htm about the possibilities in SCM 7.0.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Tibor
