Hi All,
In my portal application, I am launching SAP R/3 or BI reports using Transaction iview in a new popup window.
When I do so from my Portal, it pos a new window with respective R/3 report in SAP GUI window, which by default opens the SAP LogOn PAD too.
When I close this popup report, the Logon pad still resides open, how can we make sure Logon pad is not opend else it is closed when that popup window is closed.
Any clue on this...?>
Thanks in Advance,
Sai

Hi,
It's better you use "GUI for HTML" on your iviews. This uses ITS and GUI is not needed.
Hope this helps,
Iván.

Hi Ivan,
Thanks for your reply..
In my portal application I am not using a Transaction iview directly, but was having generating the URL with GuiType=WinGui.
As per your suggestion I have changed the GuiType parameter "WebGui" & Tried for "JavaGui" too bothe of them failed, saying access denied on Transaction (integration object).
My Application URL:
My Error message: (I gave Everyone role assigned to this component with end user checkbox ticked but still this an error.)
com.sapportals.portal.pcd.gl.PermissionControlException: Access denied (Object(s): com.sap.portal.system/security/sap.com/NetWeaver.Portal/low_safety/com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap/components/Transaction)
Note: I have created a iview of SAP transaction template with HTML for GUI & JAVA GUI both of them failed too.
Is there any additional step to be done, to get this working.
Thanks & Regards,
Sai Krishna.
Hi Satish,
Thanks for the quick reply,
But as I alredy said I tried with both Read & Owner permission for everyone role along with end user checked.
Then I cleared all the cache but still the problem persists.
is there any other step need to pe Performed for or after assigning permissions in security Zone.
Thanks & Regards,
Sai
