How would we list functional location or equipment without a class assgined to it?
Hi NThomasaon,
We can get the list of functional locations & equipment with respect to maintenance plant also. It not not mandatory to assign the classes.
Functional Location List: IL05 Structural Display: IH01
Equipment List: IE05
Can you brief your query please?..

Our business process requires the class to added to every FLOC. We need to run a report that will give us any that have no class assigned. I have tried using IL07 only selecting FLOC and Class and running it for the whole plant, exporting the result to excel and then analysing that but it's 35000 lines and too hard to quickly check. Can I use my selections in IL07 to once again find NULL items or exlude items with an entry....
Thomason,
I dont think you could carry out that query on the standard list edit transactions for identifying Objects without class assignments. You may have to write a custom program to do the same. The assignments are stored in table KSSK, if you aren't already aware of the same.

You can use Location, catagory, object types, partners, manufacturer, model no, cost centers, plant sections for finding the functional locations thro IH06,
The same way for equipments additionally you can go thro functional location , sl no wise. N no of options available in systems.(IH08,IE05) mostly we have no class systems in tech objetcs.
