- You can create a document with the SDK.
- For this document you can specify a document-numbering-series.
- Sbo creates a journal entry for the document.
Can you (and how if so) influence the series that is used for this journalentry or is it always the default?
Hi,
I guess the numbering series is user specific rather than document specific. So if ur user document (UDO) is posting some entries then the numbering series of the journal entry cannot be document specific but user specific.
But if u are adding the JE's by code then i guess u can select the numbering series explicitly.
Hope it helps,
Vasu Natari.

I know i can set the series for a manual journal entry.
What i mean is de 'auto' journal entry when for instance creating an A/R Invoice.

Hi,
1St set a default series for the JE say SYSJE, now whenever any marketing docs add a JE internally the SYSJE series will be used, but then u can add another series say SALES and assign this series to the users connected to sales dept, so now when the sales user logs in and adds a AR invoice then the SALES series is taken in the JE.
This is a manual process i guess we cannot automate it.
