Hi,

It looks version mismatch between MDM Server and Search UI deployment.

Please double check you have installed same patch level.

Hi,

Did you install the MDM and Java API from MDM install kit?

You should install those from SRM-MDM Catalog install kit (not MDM install kit).

Hi,

I'm not sure this is valid for SC but please check https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1330565

If you can call catalog directly from browser, problem looks in Portal side. http trace by httpWatch may help.

Hi .

I have same problem with SRM 7.0 and MDM Catalog 3.0 "Error connecting to Catalog; contact your System Administrator".

Web services like this

http://xxx.yyy.zzz.local:50100/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM

username mdmuser

password mdmuserpass

server xxx

catalog SRM_MDM_Catalog

unilanguage SY-LANGU

datalanguage SY-LANGU

HOOK_URL

returntarget _top

I set it up as integrated call structure because in CCM config guide has been written that :

"Note

Do not define a call structure for your catalog, as these catalogs are designated to be displayed

as integrated catalogs."

i also check psd setting in SPRO ( i have added record

pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.srm.srm70/com.sap.pct.srm.com.fl_common/com.sap.pct.srm.com.fl_iviews/com.sap.pct.srm.com.iv_cataloggeneric for PCD_LOC_CA

and i have also seen the same record in SE38 maintenance program.

On portal side i have set up permission on pcd:portal_content

Authenticated Users Administrator=NONE End User =X Built-in Group Authenticated Users

Everyone Administrator=Full control End User =X Built-in Group Everyone

Does anybody know what is going on ? What should be right solution for this error message?

Thank You very much .

Hi,

You should define parameters in "Standard Call Structure" and returntarget=_parent.

Thank You very much for answer.

i changed to "Standard Call Structure" and "page not found..." error raised.

Does anybody know where should be that problem? Is it missing setting ( Portal, SRM, MDM) or SAP bug?

Thanks a lot
