BOM transfer

Dear Experts

i am trying to transfer ( CN33) BOM to network activity the following error coming

All assignments are already current Message no. CN152

i also entered refference point in activity please give me your valuable inputs.

this issue still not solved i think that note for 4.7 version i am working on 5.0 any other inputs

Hi,

Are you trying to re-assign the BOM to same Project ? This error will occur oncase you attempt to repeat CN33 for same combination with out change in Ref points.

If it is possible remove already assigned components from project and then re define ref points as desired and transfer. Else change ref points combination such that each components targets diff activity compared to earlier one.

Hi,

You need to consider 3 main points while transfering the BOM.

1) Check the status of the BOM

2) Maintain the reference points in the Network Activity as well same in the BOM components

3) While tranfering the BOM to project using CN33, maintain BOM, Project, Plant, BOM Profile, BOM usage.

This error is because, if you make any change the refernce points in Activities and aslo in BOM Components.

Note: Remove all the reference points in Network activities save the project again re assign and save. now transfer to project using CN33.

Hi,

Try giving Value in Alternative BOM field in selection of BOM items screen.
