MI 7.1 no Data Orchestration Engine

Hello all,

Have installed PI 7.1 (ABAP + JAVA).

It was my understanding that when installing AS ABAP, that one would get NW Mobile 7.1

But ..

There is no Data Orchestration Engine there ...

What is there missing?

Hi,

When we check the link [https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000392342007E.pdf]

and the section '1.4.1 Media for SAP NetWeaver Mobile ‒ Usage Type Mobile'

it mentions that netweaver mobile(Data Orchestration Engine' does not require any additional installation but only application server ABAP.

How did you realise that DOE was not installed with AS ABAP installation?

It is part of SAP_BASIS and hence may be you can follow the configuration guide to set this up in your server

Hello and thanks for responding..

When doing /n as a transaction, I did see all mobile transactions enabled in the user menu; therefore, I thought the DOE did not exist.

But, I have found that one needs to add the role SAP_DOE* to the user in order to see them.
