AL11 view data folders on another server

Hello,

Currently we have two servers, A for SAP Application and B is a File Server. I have created several entries in AL11 to view different folders on both the SAP Application and the File Server. When I double click on the directories for the SAP Application server, I am able to view the file contents, but when I click on the directories for the File Server, all of them has an error "Wrong Order of Calls <- CALL Opendir".

I am not a basis expert and have searched on the web. Someone said I will not be able to view folders for the File Server using AL11. As AL11 is only for the directories for the SAP server. They told me to use SM69 for doing the file transfer. Anyone has come across this?
