Issue in creating data view

I have created planning area planning book and data view in DP but i am facing some problem please help me if possible.

Planning area: PA1

Planning Book: PB1 (RANGE FORECAST)

Data View: DV1 (PROPORTIONAL FACTORS FOR RANGE FORECAST)

Characteristics POS1 (X, Z)

Key Figures:

APODPDANT (Proportional Factor)

DPKF35 (Min Forecast Proportional Factor)

DPKF34 (Max Forecast Proportional Factor)

I want to create another Data View in same planning book which is having different Key Figures. Like

Planning area: PA1

Planning Book: PB1 (RANGE FORECAST)

Data View: DV2 (RANGE FORECAST)

Characteristics POS1 (X, Z)

Key Figures:

DPKF03 (Agreed Baseline Forecast)

DPKF04 (Agreed Unconstrained Demand)

DPKF36 (Maximum Forecast)

DPKF37 (Minimum Forecast)

Please tell me how can i do it.

Hi,

Adding some points to above reply

Open the T-Code /sapapo/sdp8b -

---

> Press the radio tab data view ---> entername range forecast -- > press the button create

which leads straight away to data view tab where u need to give description and in next tab add the key figures.The characteristics willbe the same as defined in planning book.

U need to write the planning book in the t-code but the radio button selected should be data view.

Whatever you wrote i know that, try to understand my issue.

However we are selecting key figures in planning book level and that key figures are displaying in data view.

Planning area: PA1

Planning Book: PB1 (RANGE FORECAST)

I want to keep new Key Figures in my 2nd data view in same Planning Book. As below

Hi Mohanty,

From ur reply i could understand is you want to change the data view in planning book.

1) First of all u have to check whether the keyfigures that u mentioned should be in planning area.If u dnt have those key figures in planning area then create the required key figures using T-Code : rsa1

RSA1--> infoobjects --> create new keyfigure.

After u have your keyfigure in data workbench add to ur planning area.Then add in the planning book and even in your data view using /sapapo/sdp8b.

2) If u dnt have the keyfigure in the planning area You can also use the auxiallry keyfigures in data view that i have mentioned u in the thread u created.Create auxillary keyfigure in the data view that you want to perform the required activities.

Hi Asis,

You can do create a second data view in the same planning Book. by using transaction "/sapapo/sdp8b".

In this screen , you will see 2 sub-screen's enabled with radio button.

Provide name "RANGE FORECAST" in Planning Book. and select Radio button for Data view and give new name for data view in the box provided below the radio button of data view.

Press create and follow the steps to enter characteristic and key figure and then save.

Try this and let me know if you face the issue.
