KM Excel document with password does not work

hello everyone,

i have an excel document with a password lock in KM content which does not execute the password pop-up when executed within KM. it gives a display ONLY sheet and not the pop-up to enter the password. the folder has full permissions though....has anyone experienced this issue ??? please help..

Click on context menu of that Excel file and select Edit Locally and after editing check in the Excel File.

Hi Rahul,

I am not facing this issue. I created an excel sheet which has the sheet and workbook password and uploaded it. The protection was valid even when I opened the sheet from the portal.

I also locked the sheet tself and uploaded. in this case also the protection was valid even after upload.

Is this where you faced the problem?
