Sub work Order assigned to wrong superior work order

Hi,

We are having a sub work order assigned to a wrong superior work order. Can we change the superior work order.

Hi,

I don't think there is any way this can be done. Best to close the sub-order and create a new sub-order for the correct superior order.

Thanks for your reply. Could you please let me know if there is any other alternatives as the sub order contains many charges which makes it not feasible to reverse and assign it to new work order.

Superior Order cannot be reassigned as said by Paul. Other way is to close the Old Sub Order , Create a new Sub Order with Reference to Old Sub Order.

If you use Trans IW36 , on screen you can enter Reference Order, All the Operations with Hrs Planned , Stock Materials planned ,External Material & Services will get Copied , Just Check it out.
