FAIL: NIEHOST_UNKNOWN error in hana in SPS 09

While I was performing some of the operations in SAP HANA the database was down and then I tried to stop the database services by

HDB stop

But when I executed the above command I got the following error:

FAIL: NIEHOST_UNKNOWN (Address family not supported by protocol), NiRawConnect failed in plugin_fopen()

I also restarted the server(RHEL 6.5) but it remains the same.Could you help me to solve this issue.Thanks in advance.
