SOLMAN distributes "old" maintenance certificates

Dear experts,

since I have activated the automatic distribution of maintenance certificates, SOLMAN daily overwrites the actual and valid maintenance certificates in the satellite system with the old maintenance certificates from the last 3-months period.

In SOLMAN the job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT is daily executed and the job log tells that collecting the license data was successfull.

In the satellite system SDCCN is activated and the daily task MAINTENANCE PACKAGE is executed too and the log there tells that the maintenance key was received from the correct RFC destination.

I was not sure whether the process is working fine and so I have requested and imported the maintenance keys manually some weeks ago.

Now my valid maintenance keys in the satellite system are daily overwritten by the task MAINTENANCE PACKAGE with the old maintencance keys from the last 3-months period.

The table AGS_MAINT_KEYS in SOLMAN has the timestamp 07.05.2009 in the LAST_CHANGE field but I do not know what happened this day. I did not install any new keys this day.

It seems that the process between SOLMAN and the satellites is working find - just SOLMAN has stored the old maintenance keys somewhere.

Many thanks in advance for your appreciated feedback and best regards

Günter

I assume it's not an old License stored in tx SLICENSE?

In tx SLICENSE I have deleted the old maintenance license and installed the new one but the automatic distribution job is updating it daily with the old one again.

Hi Günter,

I am also stuck up in the same problem. Now I want to delete the records, but I am unable to do the same using SM30. SM30 asking me to generate Table maintenance Dialogue.

Can you help me in this regard, how to proceed further? How to remove entries from AGS_MAINT_KEYS.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Soumen

Hi Soumen,

See SAP Note 1280664, question 8. It explains, how to delete the table entries using transaction SE14.

If you require further help, I would suggest, that you create a new question.

This question is marked as "Resolved".

Best regards,

Ruediger
