sbo mailer stopped to work after the upgrade

After upgrade from 2005A SP1 to 2007 SBO mailer stopped to work. I installed SBO-mailer and in settings I get meessage that it is connected. I selected DBs and Intervals for sync. How can I resolve this issue?

Some troubleshooting hints:

1. Check if the problems have patterns.

2. Monitor the SBO Mailer service more often

3. Change any settings to see if it makes any differences......

Yes, you can search for error messages in B1 log files and Windows Event Viewer (administrative tools, event viewer).

I get an error in Event Viever: The description for Event ID ( 62 ) in Source ( SBOMail ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: SBO Mailer is running.

I found SAP note 1358845 that this is a bug that was released for the customer on 29.06.2009 . I can't find any upgrade PL after 29.06 that can be downloaded. Should I create CM?

Hello again.

You are right. There isn't available upgrades, yet. But, SAP is working on it.

Save a link to this note and review it later, so when any update are released you can get it. (I gave you the link in a previous message).

Meanwhile, i suggest to check frequently the status of all SB1 services on Service manager.

Hi.

Please check the system event log for SBO error messages in order to know what could be the problem.

Also, try to change the server or user credentials.

By the way, ¿on wich Operating System do you have the service running?

There are some recent SAP notes that could help:

1358845 SBO Mailer stops working randomly with error 62.

1282178 SBO Mailer stops when sending an alert with query via mail.

Please update your patch level ...so far it looks like you are receiving these error becasue of application bug ..

Try update the patch level and your mailer components ..see if this helps ..

If not , then please log a support to SAP .
