PM-EquipmentuFF1AHow to modify the equipment warranty data in a special case

Dear expert:

I have a question about the master warranty data of equipment.

As you know, the master warranty involves three object: begin guarantee , Warranty end, master warranty. In my company, when assistant filledin the begin guarantee data and saved, SAP will automatically affirm the master warranty according on the material data, and automatically calculate the Warranty end.

Now, we have a problem. When the maintenance assistant mistakenly filled in begin guarantee and warranty end synchronously, then save the data, and SAP won`t gave an error. But, next time ,whoever used IE02 or IE03 with the equipment , once click the "custermos warranty " label SAP will give an error: Enter either the master warranty number or the warranty end date ( Messeage no. BG105). Then if I click EXIT ,the system will return to SAP menu.

Formerly, when the error appears, I can use the ESC key ,then system will overleap the error , but now this method cut no ice.

So ,who can tell what can I do when this instane occured? How to modify the equipment warranty data?

Thanks very much for your attention! Expect your solutions.

    Hi,

When the error message is displayed you should be able to just adjust the end data - clear the value from the field.

If that does not work and you cannot get to the warranty fields then you need to adjust the database record in table BGMKOBJ. The record can be found by object number field. This will be the object id + equipment number (for equipment MYEQUIP the object will be IEMYEQUIP). Adjust the end data through debug mode if necessary.
