MF60 shordump

I use SAP_APPL 617 and find a problem when execute material staging (Tcode MF60).

I use material staging to create reservation movement type 313.

I find shortdump "MESSAGE_TYPE_X" "SAPLRMPU" bzw. LRMPUF "NOTE_WMRLV"

But tis shortdump happens not regularly

There is past reservation which has null storage location (Field LGORT) and it makes short dump in material staging

A short dump occurs when system goes through an unexpected statement in program. Generally all short dumps are fairly explained in OSS note, may be some cases it is program error or in some cases it is some unexpected table entries (basically inconsistent). You just need to find the correct one. I would suggest to search OSS note with correct terms e.g. SAPLRMPU NOTE_WMRLV.

Actually, only movement type 311 is used in standard for pull list as that type has value for field 'reserv. cat.' in customization transaction OMJJ to support stock transfer, but 313 doesn't have, so the dump may happen. You can check the settings for the 2 movement types.

Stock transfer reservations are reservations that plan the goods issuefrom the issuing point. Stock transfer reservations are intended for
one-step stock transfers only. As the 313 is a two-step movement a reservation cannot be created correctly and this is the reason why the
reservations were generated without storage location. But the 311 is possible.

But when I check pull list another production order with same material and order type,

the material staging can be executed without dump.

Check if the reservation has a storage location in the field LGORT which is necessary for the movement type 313 (Transfer from storage location to storage location). Though the reservation might not be the one you are concerning, but the MF60 checks all reservations which meet the selection conditions and checks the storage locations.
I am not sure how this kind of reservation is generated without a storage location, please fill the right storage location or delete if that is not necessary and check.
