Hi,

We have a requirement were production order is created in first shift (Shift time 7am to 3pm) at 7am for a batch and is closed by 3pm in a shift. During this shift we take 3 sample. One at 9am , other at 12pm and last at 2am. After recording results against each sample we give the UD for the stock whether it is rejected or approved or material to other material.

Please tell us how to map this requirement in one inspection lot with stock control. In such a way that 3 sample records and stock posting comes under one inspection lot.

Hello,

If you are releasing the entire quantity only after all inspections are completed, you can simply set Inspection Points in your Group header (QP02).

If you are releasing stock after each inspection point, then you may want to resaerch Partial Lots in the SAP Help documentation.

You need to research and utilize physical sample management or free inspection points for this.

Should be fairly standard QM.
