Delivery related dates in sales order based on route and shipping point setting

Dear experts, I am trying to edit the route in system to control the delivery dates and facing belowissue. I have route settings as below.

And created a sales order for the above route. Below is the schedule line dates in shipping tab.

What is the probable reasons that route dates are not getting set here in sales order. Please help.

You need to check the "scheduling by sales document type".

I would guess for your sales order type the flag "TranspSchd" is not set (so not transportation scheduling is done).

But once you do this, I would think that you get surprised by the results, because what you have set does not fit together.

From the created schedule, it seems that you have working times maintained for your shipping point and that the system does a detailed scheduling.

But the field "TransitTime" is always in days - so that would mean 24 days in your case. Also the lead time "TransLdTm" is in days, if you want hours, you need to use the field "TrLeadTimeHrs". But what is the use if you enter 1 day for everything anyway?

Hi Thank you for the quick response Juergen.

I can some how see the calculation happening on entering the dates in the schedule line now. I change the delivery date in schedule line to later date, it shows me the days reflecting in the shipping view of schedule line.

However, when I save the order, I get below error. Do you have any idea on this error.

So, what did you do, what was missing?

Why would you do that (change the delivery date in the schedule line)?

No. Never had that and I also can not recreate that in my system.

Can you share the error message number? If it starts with either "Z" or "Y", then, you need to check with ABAP team

Presently, it is A - Route dependent. However, I rememebr checking by changing this parameter to C as well.

Now if i change to below setting for test purpose.

The new scheduled line dates are reflected on creating new S/O as below.

I can understand the pick pack and load time considered here.

But the transit time time in route is not getting reflected. And more over GI date is in future and delivery date is in past. Any idea how this logic works.
