Check in says identical versions despite they have differences

In PowerDesigner, I have a logical data model in a local file done out of a logical data model checked out from our Repository. When I try to check it in after having done some changes, I get in the Output window the message: "The local document and the repository document are identical. The check in has been cancelled." However, when I do a Compare with Repository to my local document, there are changes. Any idea on what can be happening?

Without actual copies of the models, it's not possible to determine root cause.

When you compare the models, what type of differences are there? What is the specific version of PowerDesigner?

I would try the following:

1. Connect to repository
2. Check out LDM model (LDM_r)
3. Open local LDM model (LDM_l)
4. Merge LDM_l into LDM_r
5. Detach LDM_l from workspace
6. Check In LDM_r
