Requirement date in Projects

Hi Friends,

While assigning a material in project, System is allowing yesterdays date.and my requirement is it should not allow past dates and by default, system should suggest today's date. Can anybody please help me...

Hi

Go to OPU6 t.code and select the order type and plant and change the Scheduling Type as current date.

And same settings do for the WBS also using menu path Spro -- PS -- Dates -- Date planning in WBS

So system will not allow the past dates, it will automtically cheng the date to current date.

Thanks for reply. I have made changes as you have suggested.But still requirement date is not defaulting to current date, while assigning the materials. Please suggest....

Hi prasanna,

Do not forget to re-schedule the network after the customizing is changed. I think, the dates in past is relevant for the case too. Please set zero for this field.
