You need some basics of java not the in-depth knowledge because you dont need to create the webservice, only you should know how to call web service from your application which you can easily get from SDN.
thanks Jitesh for response. Is that some thing like calling methods for creating/deleting/retriving..etc? How often and critical we need to apply the knowledge of java in webserivces?
