Credit limit for new customers

Requirement,

Credit limit set to be zero for all new customers.(Whenever new customer is created credit limit should be zero).

Do we need userexit or can we configure the same?

Hi

Go to FD32 - Enter the customer number, credit control area.

Go to Individual limit field and enter 0 vlaue and save.

Hi,

You can set default credit limit in OB45 you will have to give default credit limit and risk category.

Then this will be applicable to all newly created customers with account group you will mention.

Also you need to assign the credit control area in XD01 sales area view in billing tab. Then will it will take affect.

I have already assigned values in OB45.I created an order and worked well.

But I changed customer credit limit from Zero to 100000 after some time.

Credit block is still applying by the system to the new customer whose credit exposure is less than credit limit.

how to solve this?

Can you tell me what settings are present in FD32 for your Customer?

Also when you say that you have increased the credit limit from 0 to 10,000 then are you sure that you have increased the limit for Payer and not for sold to Party since Credit Managemen takes place for Payer always.

Please check if you have increased Credit Limit for Payer....

Hi,

Check Note 512668 - Credit management: Incorr. automatic creatn of new customers. In tcode OB45 you can set a credit limit for new customer (default value)
