How to open FTP port from FTR server to BO server

Hello all.

I am working on sending a report to an FTP server (outside of my org), I entered host name, Port=21, user name, password and Directory under "Adaptive Job Server/Destination". when I schedule the report with default settings, I am getting error "deliverResultsToDestination failed", in one of the blogs its suggested to check whether FTP port is opened from FTR server to BO server, where do I check this option?

The simplest way is to test using the browser ( IE / Chrome / FireFox ) on the BOBJ serer to confirm your FireWall rules allow you to connect using FTP. You also need to confirm that UserID and password is all correct that's being used by BOBJ.
