NWBC can not work, about /sap/bc/dal/demoA

Dear all,

I was trying to connent ERP6.0 with NWBC.

My configuration of the NWBC now is:

Name: IDS

Type: SAP All-in-one

protocal: http

Host: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Port: 8000

Path: /sap/bc/dal/demoA

Client: 800

Language: EN

I can see the logon window, but after that, there is a error message liike :

"Could not load content from connection IDS (error code invalid server response)"

When I test this service in the transaction SICF. The page after the logon shows:

"

<?xml version="1.0" ?>

<DAL />

Any one can help me on this? thanks a lot

When I tested it and saw the same behavior, I switched over to using the following URL instead:

/sap/bc/NWBC/testCockpit

Has anyone been able to resolve this? I verified the configuration but seem to keep getting this when I run the test.

same problem here, client seems to be fine, but service in sicf is returning empty xml file, so no wonder it does not load anything...... Any ideas would be welcome instead of pointing us to the same help page all the time....

Hi All,

The NWBC is basically a frontend for GRC Process control.

The correct path for NWBC is....

Name: <ANY NAME>

Type: SAP All-in-one

Client: (100,200..etc)

protocal: http

Host: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Port: 8000

Path: /sap/grc/nwbc/pc

Client: 800

Language: EN

Activate the belwo path

*Path: /sap/grc/nwbc/pc and activate all under

/sap/bc*

/sap/grc*

The link /sap/grc/nwbc/pc is for a different NWBC cockpit, specifically for GRC PC. If you don't have GRC, that link won't work.

GRC uses the same NWBC client as other SAP applications; it's just that GRC Process Control looks like the first application to require it. Ironic, since the SAP notes about NWBC support don't list GRC as a supported application...

when i test the service: /sap/bc/dal/demoa, after loging page, I get following response:

I dont know if it is correct.
