Opeartion Split is not supported while scheduling

Hello,

Parameters:

1. Work center (WC-A) has 2 shifts defined.(8 Hrs in each shift) for capacity category "002".

2. Individual capacities in 1st Shift = 2 persons &

2nd Shift = 1 person.

3. MRP run is done with :Lead time scheduling" option

4. This work center is assigned to an operation with operation split = 2.

Assumption: Operation starts in 1st Shift

Scenarios & System response:

1. If the operation requires 8 Hrs, system refers operation split & does the scheduling over 4 Hrs in 1st shift.

2. If the operation requires 16 Hrs, system refers operation split & does the scheduling over 8 Hrs in 1st shift.

3. If the operation requires 17 Hrs, system does not refer operation split & does the scheduling over 8 Hrs in 1st shift, 8 Hrs in 2nd shift and 1 Hr in next day 1st shift

Issue: If capacity requirement is more than 8 x 2 = 16 Hrs, system goes to 2nd shift and does the entire scheduling by ignoring the operation split.

For scenario 3, pl. guide on how to make system to use operation split in 1st shift and ignore split in 2nd shift.

Thanks

Nitin
