ICR: Problems on deleting records from FBICRC002A

Dear colleagues,

we are currently implementing the ICR functionality in ECC 6.0.

Due to customizing changes we are forced to delete all data from the special ledger assinged to ICR-process 002. All relevant notes related to this issue have been impelmented, including 1349353. Neither the program FBICRC002_DATA_DEL nor the "general" deletion program RGUDEL00 succeed in deleting approx. 5 million data records from table FBICRC002A. The jobs ran for about 2 days without any effect, so they were cancelled in the end. In debugging mode, FBICRC002_DATA_DEL never

comes back from the database exactly in the line with the statement "DELETE fbicrc002a FROM TABLE lt_fbicrc002a". Checking lt_fbicrc002a in Debug-mode it is populated correctly. We simply cannot get rid of the datasets in this SL-table. The totals from

FBICRC002T have been deleted successfully - no problems on that one.

According to note 1279759 we also tried to enhance the index for this table, but the activation of the extended index failed in the end with some Oracle database error 0054.

In this stage we have no chance to continue with the implementation of process 002. On the other ICR-processes 001 and 0003 we have encountered no such unsolvable problems so far. They run fine.

I know that you are the expert on this issue, Ralph, so I hope you have a good hint for us as well.

Thanks in advance for your quick support, Ralph Stadter!

Best regards,

Juergen
