Hello Experts - We have have below problem statements and need pointers on solutions from folks who have encountered similar situations

Problem Statement: We are on BWoH 7.4, Version 1.0, SPS 10 where we have created multiple HANA views on top of BW Master Data IO, DSO and Info Cubes for third party access. Before BWoH all the reporting needs were catered by BW WTs but now slowly and steadily business has migrated all their reporting to third party visualisation tools to create dashboards via Microstrategy/qlickview etc. With the increase in number of users accessing the data directly from HANA views we are witnessing multiple dumps in the system for memory overflow. Business has comeback to Infosys asking if there is any regulation that can be put in place at HANA DB level to avoid these memory overflow issues.

- Can we regulate the way users access data directly frm HANA DB via number of ODBC connections for the day?

- How do we kill long running queries, is there any job that can be scheduled frequently as a watch dog?

- Other possibilities if any?
