Asset sale without customer

Can any body explain me how to do asset sale with out customer.what transactions we need to do.

Transaction Code ABAON -->Asset Sale WithOut Customer is used which is Asset Sale with Revenue.

Hi,

Use T.Code ABAON for selling assets without customer.Select the asset no that you are going to sale along with document date,posting date and asset value date.For specification of revenue you have two options.Incase of manual revenue you will have to update the field with sale value and incase of Rev from NBV you have to update the field with depreciation area wherefrom the net book value is used as revenue.Interestingly you will find differences in accounting entries in both the cases.In case of manual value the accounting entry is

75 Asset

70 Accumulated Dep

40 Sale Clearing Asset Disposal

40/50 Loss/Gain.

While in case of Rev form NBV only first three entries will be generated because of no profit /loss while selling the asset at net book value.

Apart from the above there is also the option of partial retirement.
