Foreign Currency Revaluation Question

SAP Instance is ECC 6.0.

I am running the FC translation program. The company code currency is CAD. The transaction amount was CAD. In the translation program, the amount in the FC Currency(Transaction amount CAD) field is different from the amount in the LC Currency field which is USD currency. Another column gives the 'Amount Valuated' based on today's exchange rate which is Transaction Currency X todya's exchange rate.

The question is about the 'Amount in LC' column. How is that calculated? It does not match with the converted amount on the line item in the FB03 which is actually the transaction amount multiplied by the Exchange rate on the posting date.

While this amount is totally different. Any ideas how the amount in the field 'Amount in LC' in the Translation program is calculated??
