We currently run B2B ISA & ICWC on CRM 5.0. Have been looking at using CRM Channel Management.
Current plan was to use the SAP external portal, load the CRM business package and use the PCUI screens for channel management.
But with 7.0 the understanding is using the portal is an option but not required (put the CRM screens in an Iview if desired)
If we wanted to allow our Channel Partners the ability to use the CRM web screens directly without external portal, what is the architecture? is the CRM server still behind our firewall?
We still have employees agents accessing the CRM system internally for ICWC. This is still 1 CRM system I hope.
Would appreciate any comments.
