-ve stock in 922

I am seeing some -ve stock in 922- posting change area.

how can i get rid of this stock?

Hi,

You have some open POsting Change notices, check using LU04 or the WAM LL01. IF so, process these and see where you are at afterwards.

Hi Steve,

I do have some open posting changes but not for the material for which we have negative stock in 922.

So how we can clear 922?

Hi,

The WM and IM stock are needed to be in sync. if the goods are received in the GR area and it has not been putaway, the WM stock will be lesser than the IM stock by the GR qnty. Hence, SAP uses this -ve stock to keep both WM and IM stock equal. once the material is put away and TO is confirmed in WM, the WM stock increases and -ve stock in the IM GR area is removed.
