ICM service not running

Hi,

In one of the application server ICM service is not running. when i go to tcode SMICM it shows an information "Communication error with ICM - check status (smicm emergency mode)".

What i need to do? How can i start ICM service again?

Due to this some of work process in that application server are in status "complet".

If ICM was working previously then just try to Restart .... SMICM -> Adminitration -> ICM -> Restart -> Yes. If that fails maybe a Hard Exit and the Restart.

Also, make sure that all parameters are set correctly and look at the trace dev_icm
