Hi Osvaldo,

I have checked with our dev and QA colleagues: a fix has been provided which prevents that such activities have not the correct information.

All right, I will wait 2 weeks to test, and then I accept the fix ;)

Hello Osvaldo,

I will need the username of the person who is following this blog post to be able to investigate which blog post the user was following. It would also be helpful if you could give me the approximate date of when this activity took place.

Thanks,

Sajid Amir

I saw this myself several times and had asked many users by direct message if they remember which blog they followed, usually I get negative replies, but yesterday I had luck with Mehmet Ozgur Unal

It should be this blog:

Investigating further. Will get back to you asap.

It is that user >> Mehmet Ozgur Unal

Hello Jurgen, Osvaldo,

I was able to look up the activities that were performed by this user and filter his follow on blogpost activities. It seems that even if the actual activity of follow was registered in our activity aggregator, the UI still shows no content title. I will raise this issue with IT and update you both when I get an answer.

Best,

Sajid Amir

Any update?

Right now, I get another user activity with the same issue:

Hello Osvaldo,

We learned that this bug is being caused because of two reasons:

1. When users are following some specific migrated blog posts

2. When the text body of the blog post being followed starts with an image.

We have solved the first issue here and migrated blogs do not show this bug any longer. However, the ticket for the other issue has not been resolved yet. Is there any way for you to confirm which blog Jesus Antonio was following? That way we can verify if the issue identified by IT are in fact the only sources of the problem.

Again, thanks for your help on this Osvaldo.

There is no way to contact Jesus Antonio because mentions do not exist anymore.

You are a "Global Moderator"... can you contact Jesus Antonio?

Hi Osvaldo,

can you share which blog post this was? Could you also let me know when this happened?

Is there no option to find this from some system logs? Users have no option to see what content they are following. So even asking those users within a few hours usually results in silence as they do not remember. They would need to review their browser history to know it.

As Jürgen said, I can not see what post is, and I'm trying to contact to Jesus via PM, but he does not follow me:

And... @mentions do not work anymore. (Thanks guys!).

How do you think I could contact Jesus Antonio? :(

Aside of that, it is a disappointment that you who are designing the whole system can not know what is happening with these activities. You ask to us !? (shock emoji)

Thanks Osvaldo, I digged into the system activities and could found the activity. I asked our QA colleagues to check
