Available quantity for batches

Hi all ;

When i check sap documentation about available quantity of batches, i see dependencies such a this setting is connected to the setting 'Level of available quantity'. But, there is no more. What are the dependencies ?

I hope that non-batch specific can only use with available quantity based on storage bin.

However, could you explain usage of batch or non-batch specific availability ?

When i change batch available quantity , what will happen for picking-up ?

For example, i changed availablity quantity into storage bin level. Result is you can pick one of them your HU.

I wonder that what will be happened changing of batch level.

...same as with the HUs. If you have multiple different batches on the bin the operator can decide for one batch and has to provide it during pick confirmation. If you change to batch level then the WT will already have a batch assigned during creation and operator is forced to pick this specific batch.

Hello Hendrik Schulte-Bahrenberg , Juergen Pitz ,

I actually want to ask behaviour of SAP that for a given example.

For example ,

I transfer material EWM to MM or MM to EWM with MIGO 311 when SAP creates inbound / outbound delivery. In this process, if material batch managed , i fill out batch number in MIGO however batch number copied into EWM delivery document. Then, i create WT referance to EWM inbound/outbound.

Question : If i select neutral non-batch specific for storage type , how SAP give respond ? Because, EWM delivery contain batch number but i can select another batch for this delivery when i confirm warehouse task !
