Available quantity for batches

Hi all ;

When i check sap documentation about available quantity of batches, i see dependencies such a this setting is connected to the setting 'Level of available quantity'. But, there is no more. What are the dependencies ?

I hope that non-batch specific can only use with available quantity based on storage bin.

However, could you explain usage of batch or non-batch specific availability ?
