Hello,
Following Ingos excelent Blog, I configured the BW Publisher.
I can now save Crystal reports to BW. I can see these reports in the transaction /CRYSTAL/RPTADMIN.
However wehn I try to publish them to BO (either from CR itself or from the SAP transaction ) it gives me an error:
0000000001 Die Zeichenfolge "CLIENT=001 LANG=DE" für die Datenbanksuche ist für Bericht D5ZV1YMV0U1IQUVCS39JNKLUV in Sprache DE ungültig. Überprüfen Sie die Einstellungen in der Transaktion: rscr_maint_publish
However, I cant see what should be wrong, as I have made no entries in tcode rscr_maint_publish...
Any Idea? Help would be very much appreciated...
Hi
I have still the same problem,
Does it work without removing the language?
thanks

let me know how the testing goes. there should be no need to remove the languages.

Hi,
which languages did you define in the transaction /CRYSTAL/RPTADMIN ?
and which language did you use to logon when creating the report ?

Dear Ingo, thanks for your answer.
I defined DE and EN in the RPTADMIN.
I constructed the report in Crystal, while my connection to SAP was set to DE.
When publishing, I chose "no translation" (with translation, the error message was also shown).
My "workaround" was to remove both languages in RPTADMIN, logon to SAP on englih (from Crystal), construct a new report and publish it without translation. That worked. I will do some more tests today upon this topic.
Thank you for your support. It's really appreciated!
