SAP GUI Scripting and Fiori. Changes?

I found SAP Scripting being a great help. Having created some kind of base-application to facilitate the repeated use of it, I don't know how to evaluate the (very likely) coming of Fiori (even for IS-U!?).

As I understand it, Fiori is browser-based, so ... what about SAP GUI Scripting? Will it still exist? What changes are to be expected? Complete overhaul? No further support?

Any help would be appreciated.
