Pick HU assignment in production order

Hi Experts,

I have scenario where business is creating TO against production order for a material which is picked up from different batches. While confirming TO by line item, system confirms 1 st line item with pick HU but second line item can not be confirmed.

Error message : Handling unit item could not be found.

Following configurations are maintained in system

1 .SPRO-LE-WM-Interface-Define production-warehouse number

PP batch confirmation indicator deactivated

2.SPRO-LE-WM-Interface-Define production-Storage type

Indicator for deactivate qty reduction selected.

3. Configuration maintained in control for automatic creation for Pick HU

Looking forward for suggestions.

Hi,

We encountered the same issue and got the message HUGENERAL201 when we tried to confirm the TO. Surprisingly enough, it turned out that when you set the batch ENTRY indicator in the MRP2 view of the material master to '2', the update will pass. Field name is MARC-KZECH
