Hello experts,
I"m up to implement Counter-Based Maintenance (preventive) so i have created a few measuring points.
some of the counters could be remain the same for a long period time.
I would like to understand exactly the Annual estimate feild,
specifically hew it will be to influence in case that measurement documents are created over time with the same counter reading and in case when measurement document are not created at all.
Best Regards
Avi
hi
Annual estimated field will be useful while creating maintenance plan for performance based strategy .system will search for this field to calculate the call date based on the cycle frequency and the current counter reading

hi
for example you have entered 3650 in annual estimate, and planned for 150 hrs maintenance ,and current reading is 10 hrs.
while creating the maintenance plan ,system will calculate as (3650/365=10hrs/day) if you schedule today , then the planned date will be todays date14 days ie 15/07/09 ie 10hrs*14=140hrs10hrs of current reading.

No
even though the counter has not reached if you run the IP30 system will generate the call object .(at 10hrs) assuming on annual estimate has done .due to this behavior you have to constantly update the measuring document with small amount or reschedule the maintenance plan using IP10
