DTW - oJournal Entry - Please can somebody help me?

Hello

I am trying to upload a Journal via the DTW and I am doing something wrong.

I have hosted the two CSV files I wish to import at : http://lollie.secnix.com/~jcook/misc/

I have also included the raw data (Journal) on the same site, so you can see what I am trying to do.. : )

I'd really appreciate if someone could shed some light on where I am going wrong with the upload..

Hi Matt,

Your record key is wrong. If you want to post only one JE, the RecordKey in the line file should be 1 for all the records. However, since all of the debits are for the same account, I am afraid system may not accept it.

Hi Gordon, I tried this again with the line number changed to 1. I get an error message on import:

"Series not defined for Journal Entry Application- defined or Object-defined error65171"

Any ideas?? Could this be the account code as sugested above?

Only if you are using segmented account. Is that true?

I believe you have to use reference the GL Accounts by using _SYSXXXXXXX numbers.
