XL Reporter selection

Hi expert !!

How can I perform a selection where the data supplied (via a parameter), is contained in a field but at fixed position (not just anywhere in the field) ?

(exemple the user supplies 006 as a search criteria, the record 10060434 is selected but 10020065 is not selected).
