Use in partner roles

HI all,

I am archiving some customers through SARA transaction, in any cases the result is "Use in partner roles" and customer isn't archived. Does this mean I can't archive that customer? Can I do something before in order to be able to archive the document?

Hi,

Try to see if you have any partner profiles set up for them in WE20.If they are in use, you may not be able to archive the customer.

No I don't have any partner profile set for that customers...

Hi,

The master record of a customer account cannot be archived immediately. The system first has to check whether the customer is not occuring in any transaction figures in the system. Transaction figures from previous years that have not been archived will also prevent the system from deleting the account master record.

So my guess is the customer you are trying to archive is still occuring in some document in which case you would need to take care of that document first.You can try checking in table VBPA, to see if they are in any sales documents for example.
