Cannot install: invalid directory structure

95 Views

Hi everybody. I'd appreciate if anybody could give me a little hint what might be my problem. A lot of thanks in advance. 😊

I've been trying to install the Netweaver 7.0.1 SR1 trial package on a Windows Vista Home Premium system. Some details: AMD CPU, 2 Gbyte of RAM, sufficient free disk space, all available Vista updates installed, latest Java installed, instaling in admin account, ...

I keep getting stuck at this point:

...

Execution of the command ""C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_14\bin\java.exe" -classpath migmon.jar -showversion -Xmx1024m com.sap.inst.migmon.imp.ImportMonitor -sapinst" finished with return code 2. Output:

java version "1.6.0_14"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_14-b08)

Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode)

Required system resources are missing or not available:

Import directory 'C:\Users\Public\Downloads\SAPNWABAP701SR1_TRIAL\SAP_NetWeaver_701_SR1_Export\DATA_UNITS\EXP2' does not have valid structure of subdirectories;

Import directory 'C:\Users\Public\Downloads\SAPNWABAP701SR1_TRIAL\SAP_NetWeaver_701_SR1_Export\DATA_UNITS\EXP3' does not have valid structure of subdirectories.

...

Any idea? Wrong Java version, maybe?

Thanks for your time.
