We have the situation where we want to consildate our Sales Org's.
Currenlty we have 4 sales org's of which we want to reduce to 1 only.
Our intention is to remove the CVC's for all of the obsolete sales org's. Before we do, we want to transfer the Historical and Future values of the Key Figures for the outgoing sales orgs over to the remaining Sales Org by adding the values from the outgoing Sales Orgs onto the remaining existing sales organisations.
We started with an approach of using the standard Download / Upload tool. We Selected the 4 Sales Organisations and Downloading the files so that the selection detail was stored in the Excel File itselfs. Then we adjusted the file selection in the Excel spreadsheet so that the total would upload into the Sales Org that would remain. The solution would work with the exception that we would need to Download / Upload 150+ files to complete the exercise leaving the risk of error to be to significant. We therefore abandoned this method.
Does anyone hany experience of doing something similar? What is the best way to approach? Is there a standard tool that would enable us to do this?
