Configuration Settings for Quantity/Value contract?

Hi,

I am new to contract set up in SAP SD. I am creating contract with billing plan using standard configuration. I found the below concerns.

Flow is Contract-Order-Delivery-Billing

1. Contract is created with billing plan(periodic) for one year. Order is created from the contract which is not relevant of billing plan( I am not sure if it is correct). However after the first reference only the contract shows completed. I am not able to create any more order from it. The same thing is happening for Value contract too.

2. For Value contract the released value in contract is not getting updated after creation of release order (Order Type OR).

Can anyone help me on resolving these issues.

It's a quantity contract with a target quantity of 1 which you have fully referenced in the order. As per the completion rule of 'C' this completes the contract.

Please check the 'Completion Rule' setting for ZKMN item category. Perhaps it is 'A' for ZKMN.

If the Billing Plan is not required for that Business process, then, you need to change the configuration of Contract also. Either you have the Billing Plan in both the documents or don't have. Coming to creation of multiple orders, not sure, what is the need for that when the entire quantity is referenced in sale order from contract On your second question, I don't understand what do you mean by Release order value is not getting updated. Please explain with more details

Thank You Sir for the reply and Sorry for posting the explanation after a while.

Release order, I mean the order I create from Value contract. If I am creating an order for value 5000 USD and create an order of same value referring to the contract, then the value released field in contract should be updated. However it is not working in my case.

I am not sure if I have missed any settings. Things look fine in Contract to Order copy control.

Can you please guide me on this?
