Hello Alle,
Is it possible to check in Technical Monitoring, if the managed systems are having correctly set parameters. Thrue technical monitoring in solution Manager.
Thanks for any advice
Br
Reza
Hi Reza
There is a separate scenario that is available under the E2E Root Cause Analysis scenario in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 where you can create templates and use those templates (parameters + values) against your managed SAP systems to check which systems are compliant and which are not.
It is called "Change Validation", you can find more information on the SCN wiki:
https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/TechOps/Change+Diagnostics+Overview
Best regards
Tom

Hello Reza Ejersbo,
Technically I do not think this is possible because every hardware/VM is different and profile parameters generation happening in a combination of your kernel and hardware assign to SAP system.
If you change physical memory parameter it will change most of the memory parameters which is auto calculated by the kernel.
Sometimes BASIS team changes parameters manually according to system load. Checking profile parameter might be possible for some parameters, for example below...
SAPDBHOST, SAPFQDN, SAPGLOBALHOST, dbms/type and so on....bur parameter values cannot be checked since every installation is different
Hope this answers your question
